I’ve been letting my social anxiety and depression dictate my life. I’m angry, sad, insecure, and tired. My depression is starting to tell me everyone would be better off without me. All my thoughts are bouncing and I can’t catch them long enough to meditate on them. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I feel you, this has been my life recently also. I don't have any advice as I'm seeking my own, but know you are not alone.

I'm dealing with similar feelings. I have been trying to force myself to do productive things and stay active when my depression makes me want to sleep. Little things here and there like cleaning, lighting smell good candles and making my environment feel cozy. I also have been doing more self care. It helps a little. I also just started journaling and hoping it helps.

I’m so nervous to be around anyone these days. I start to wonder how I even interacted with people that are not my family. Even seeing some of my family makes me want to just stay home. I also try to stay busy but I’ve been doing it as a distraction from my emotions. My fiancé is so open and descriptive when it comes to his emotions. I’m calm and logical and I tend to disassociating in order to avoid talking or even thinking about my feelings. It’s been such a long depression, I’m not used to feeling good, confident, and happy so I’m avoiding doing what’s in my best interests. So yea, self destructive depression right here. I’m trying to remember that restarting doesn’t mean I’m starting over, it means I’m continuing!

Id like to meditate as well. Journaling is also good. Try asking yourself why you feel what your feeling and explore how to help yourself by asking yourself how you want to be helped. The thought is to be kind to yourself and openly ask what you need.
