Mood swings are out of control

I'm so angry most of the time. Everything annoys me.

I'm tired but I don't want to sleep at night. I want to sleep during the day.

I don't want to do anything.

I want to stop taking my medication because they're not helping so why even be on them?

I can't see my doctor because she's on leave for a while. I see my psychologist once a month but that's it.

I just don't know what to do anymore.

@tryphena

Feeling all those things must be difficult, especially if your therapist isn't currently available. I encourage you to explore options of online therapy during lockdown. This community is also here to support you and 7 Cups has online therapists available, as well as many listeners who are willing to help you out ❤️

@tryphena You're explaining me to a T right now. That is exactly how I've been feeling these past couple months. I stopped taking my Lithium quite awhile ago because I had been stable for a few years. I was good for awhile, but the mood swings are definitely back. In March, I moved to a new state, no longer have a job, and began helping my son full-time with his virtual learning school work. On top of all that, I've been stuck at home with all this corona stuff. I think all of these changes in my normal routine have really thrown me off. I just feel a lot more stressed out and agitated now. I get super annoyed with my husband over anything and everthing. I don't want to fight, but I feel like I can't control myself during my mood swings. I just feel so enraged at times that I feel like I'm literally going to lose my mind. Your post helped me feel not so lonely. Thank you!
