New Meds while dealing with breakup
So I just started new meds and they have not been helping my grieving process about my ex. If I feel okay the side effects hit me like a train and I have to lay and bed to recover, then I get sad again and overthinking. The other problem is that I'm also dealing with my ED coming back. (My ex wasn't kind to me towards the end) so I feel so tired and defeated. I hate feeling like I can't do anything anymore (because I know I can do things) but it feels like my health is depleting. Does anyone have suggestions, because I feel like I've tried everything and I'm so tired.
I haven't felt this way since Senior/Junior year of high school...
@RetroGamer99 Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you're going through all of this. I know how hard it can be when it feels like the world is against you😞 May I ask how long you've been taking these meds? It's important to remember that medication can take a few weeks before you begin to see them working. I know it can be hard to have the patience, but they will help you with time. Remember to keep communication open with your provider and make sure you do things that help you cope too. You'll be okay and we are always here for you! 💙
It can get really tiring and it is so hard to be patient with it all. So I am sending lots of strength and peace.
Do know that you are doing your best and keep telling yourself that.
When you can, get outside or at least sit by a window. Even a little contact with nature can really help. @RetroGamer99

Grieving is a process in itself with stages to go through. There's no way to fast-forward through it. The meds may help the process, but grieving, by the nature of the beast, hurts. I'd give yourself some time to hurt, to grieve properly for the loss of this relationship, knowing that it's a ride that you will eventually get off of. You will find your vitality and vigor once again. We live in such an instant society, but things just don't work that way. I wish they did... I wish I could take away the hurt and all the hurtful things that were said in the end of that relationship for you... But try to focus on you, what you like, who you are. Rediscover yourself as you've been part of someone else for a while now. How do you enjoy spending your time? Keeping your home? Even dressing and eating? Pamper yourself, love yourself. You deserve it.... You will heal, I have faith in that.
