Out of control
I was in therapy for a year until last October when I didn't have insurance anymore. I tried starting Lexapro again but it gave me bad thoughts and restless legs. I feel so easily triggered.... Every damn thing seems to set me off. It's effecting my relationship. I'm trying to pull myself out of it because I usually can to an extent. I just feel so numb, and no matter how bad I want to do things I just can't. Then because I can't seem to get the want to do anything I get all angry and panic. I feel like I'm spiraling backwards and losing control. I miss the old happy me. I feel so lost..... I see how I'm effecting my girlfriend and that kills me....
I'm sorry you are struggling. My only advice would be to seek a counselor you feel comfortable with and discuss these things. If they think trying a different med could help you, see if you can talk with a good psychiatrist. In the mean time, self-care is vital. Rest, exercise, good nutrition, and maybe something you enjoy. Remember that you are battling an illness. Give yourself some grace.
