Overwhelming Sadness

Does anyone else ever feel sad for no reason and all of the sudden a wave of anxiety and numbness and sadness fall in you if that makes sense. I just feel like I'm stuck in that cycle where the days blend together and you forget to eat or do anything you would normally do. You're constantly tired but are almost never able to sleep. I try talking about it to my friends and they just brush it off saying I'm being overdramatic or that I'm faking it for attention. I don't know if they're really my friends at this point. They don't comfort me when I'm upset, they point out all my insecurities, sometimes even go as far as saying I should jump off a tall building. I just don't know what to do anymore. Someone please help me

there is no ‘how-to guide on how to feel when you are overwhelmed by sadness. Allow it all, the moments of anxiety, tiredness, loneliness, its all completely valid. Pain is not something we can measure, how one person deals with something isnt comparable to any other we are different entities, made up of completely different lifetimes – you are doing the very best you can, lovely.

You are properly amazing.Never doubt your strength or your heart..you have both in abundance. It's a privilege to be able to call you a friend and those who don't realise that? It's their loss- seriously in times of crisis or temporary darkness it's when you really filter out the true friends from those who aren't so great + although it hurts- never blame yourself for their lack of comfort towards you when you are upset or when they say you are overdramatic, faking it for attention or anything else you don't deserve to be told. It truly speaks volumes about them. You are incredible sincereOceanheart. I wish you every last bit of happiness
