@Macn012
Can you go see a therapist?
I've been to a few and they helped me unscramble my issues.
@Macn012 I have only had a depression for over a year now and I talked to some people about it, but never too much. I understand why you're afraid of telling people what is going on. I'm scared that I will hurt my friends and family if I tell them or that I'd be a burden to them. But I'm learning to set those thoughts away and talk about my depression and ask for help. Today I had a talk with someone from school and he told me that he will check if he can get me some help through school. I had to ask my parents a couple of times before they finally got in action to get me a psychologist to talk to. In a few weeks I'm turning 18 and from that moment I have to pay for things myself, like the psychologist, so I understand why you're saying it's expensive. I just hope that my parents can help me with the money. I also hope I can find a job soon, so I can pay for things like that myself.
I first told my best friend when I thought I had a depression, only later I managed to tell my parents with the help of my siblings. Maybe if you can find someone to help you talk about it, you can try to tell your parents about your depression?
I don't know who to go to, I don't know if I need medication or a tharapist. I don't know how to tell someone I'm not as happy as they think I am. I feel like i have been wearing a mask hiding my broken self for too long. I want to take off my mask and truly be happy. I don't want to have to pretend. I know I need help but I'm scared. I don't know what I would say to a doctor or tharapist.
It's good to talk and listen
