hallo Trollingsummer.. It was very - very sad reading your story.. As a mother of 4 kids all very near to your age i have lurned alot from this letter. I which I could just hug you very very long and tell you all will be okey.. But I can not do that.. Myself was very hurt by promises of my parents... And I cry 3 years. Then thought of suicide. Things went very wrong and so alot of stuff happend there after. Always thinking it could have been so different.. If they just have let me go.. Sometimes I still feel like that. But it is done now. And can not be changed Don't give up ... One of the.listeners on this site gave me a name of a book. And in would love to share it whit you. Cos it is live changing. If you at willing to work hard. Feeling God.. The new mood theropy. By David Burns.. Please just begin reading it.. Stay save and love yourself !!

Hey, my parents and life is similar to yours. I'm stuck in a boring hometown with friends who are honestly fake. I am betrayed, lonely, weird teenager, but I heard life gets better so try to focus on your goals. Friends and family will come and go but eventually you will find someone who's willing to stick with you. Trust me, you will find friends in the weirdest places and chatrooms, but it will make you feel better.

P.S - Please don't harm yourself with sharp objects whenever you feel yourself reaching for scissors slap your hand, because I know you are special in somebody's life.

@trollingsummer, I am a teenager who has just been diagnosed with depression, and I know how it feels. I'm also introverted, and I know that it can be terrible having to go through stuff alone. I'm not going to give you advice like "Everything is going to get better" or "You just need to work harder" because I know that doesn't work. Sinking deeper into depression is like sinking into tar- it's sticky and restricting and terrifying.

Norman Vincent Peale said, "Change your thoughts and you change your world." You can't just start meds or move schools and expect everything to get better- the truth is, one thing isn't strong enough to pull you out of that tar. But that one little thing can be the first step in escaping the pull of depression and learning to live againheartheart
