Hi, this is my first post and i dont know how this works really but im really struggling, ive recently split from my husband who was very controlling, we were together for 12 years and childhood sweethearts. He played on every weakness i had although im proud of myself for finally being strong enough to end things im also really struggling to deal with myself emotionally now his gone, the parts of him that i loved i really miss. Not only that but i have now been taken to court over the rent that he didnt pay and now im going to be evicted with my whole family living with me. Its just horrible, i cant go on antidepressants because of my other medication, my doctor is no help at all, they dont even answer the phones so im in the process of changing them. I have no energy, no interest in anything, work is stressful (healthcare) and i dont even want to speand too much time with my grandson, i feel horrible for even thinking that. Im totally lost and need help to find a reason to actually be here at all.

Hello! I might not be that experienced at all, considering that I am only fourteen years old. But, I am so sorry to hear that. This might not be out of any support or help at all, but please try to look at the bright sides of life. From what I've read here, your husband was controlling. I know how hard it is to move on when you really loved someone. Not being the same, but I've also had the same cases, with my childhood best friend. If he was controlling, then you shouldn't miss him at all! Considering that there are probably some parts that you still love about him, please forget it. That is called 'victim complex.' And, your husband doesn't have to do victim complex personally, but he passed it onto yourself. (I hope you understand what I mean, English is not my first language.) Your husband did this. Please stop worrying. If anything, focus on yourself now. Enjoy life. And move on. And please, focus on small things that make you smile. Yes, it doesn't have to be your grandson or family in total. And please do not feel any type of guilt, this is NOT your fault. Focus on ANYTHING that makes you smile. Some kind of music, nature, books, anything! And focus on a little thing for about two weeks. As the time passes by, increase the numbers of little things. Gain motivation and listen to TED talks. Please speak to someone. Anything, just stay. It isn't worth it. Please do not go. I cannot help you though the screen personally, but I am asking you to stay. Because if you do somthing reckless and completely give up, I will feel guilt. Imagine how your close family will feel. Please contact me if you need anything else, I hope that I was helpful, atleast a bit! Please contact me if you need anything else <33

Hi, thank you for sharing this and being open here. I can't imagine the struggle. I know what it's like to go through depression, and feeling like all hope is lost. You are not alone in this, friend. Let's get through this one day at a time. Please feel free to watch this encouraging video: https://youtu.be/6a1p1_jzM14
