I literally have so many reasons as to why I shouldn't be sad yet I still choose to be sad

@Djeidi. I don't mean to be flip but because you're used to it . You know what to expect and how to deal with it. It's familiar. And bacause after you go back to feeling sad after you've felt better the sad feels so much worse. This I say from experience. Its the person you identify with, the one you know. I don't think it's that unusual to feel that way

@Djeidi I can relate to this.... like, sometimes I feel like I need to be sad and any form of happiness feels weird/uncomfortable because it's not normal.

@Djeidi

i know it may feel like that right now, but i promise you it gets better. recovery takes so much time - don't worry if you don't feel high levels of improvement right away. its okay and normal to have bad days and to feel this way. i have felt that way in the past as well. no matter what i tried, i just kept being sad and going right back to where i started. i can assure you that it does get better. give yourself some time - you're on the right track and exactly where you should be. try to stay positive even though i know how hard it can be. you're very strong and you will make it through this.
