Hi, @WriterLikeYou! You mean it in the way that people tend to use the word "depressed" to describe sadness? Do I understand you correctly?

Perhaps we could discuss what the difference is between depression and sadness.
As I understand it ( in short) , sadness is when you feel sad with reason or for a short period.
Depression is when you feel sad or upset for sometimes no real reason. Sometimes everything upsets you. Your emotions is weird, and even when things are good you feel sad.
