Stuck at home mom
I've really been feeling stuck for a while now. I've been a stay at home mom basically since the start of covid due to kids being in virtual school and being pregnant. I decided not to go back to work outside the home, but Raju struggle with wanting to work at all. Or do anything for that matter. Big stressors are part of the reason. I just don't know what to do to move forward.
Sorry your going through this. I know this feeling well. I create a schedule and include self care time in it at some point throughout the day, to do something I like to do for myself. It helps. If somebody can give you relief for an hour or two you could maybe get out the house and go somewhere you like. If not maybe you and the kiddos can take a walk everyday, or go to a park away from the house. It will help relieve some of the stress.
I was in your shoes since the beginning of the pandemic as well, and I thought that work from home would be easier for me, but because of my daughter, it became even harder than from the office. I was getting distracted a lot, but at the same time, I wanted to make sure that my daughter was entertained. Of course, this time wasn't easy for her as well, so I hoped she'd feel better if I bought her a climbing playground for kids, so she would feel less bored staying 24/7 at home. It worked, and I even managed to establish a workflow, but I still think that pandemic was the worst.
