Tired

I constantly feel tired. Physically and emotionally, talking with friends now seems like a job and doing things I loved just aren't helping. No matter how much I sleep or try to get better it never goes away. I feel like I'm pushing away family,friends and just about anyone close to me for no reason and I don't want this to continue but I don't know how to stop it either. I constantly find myself crying over little things but also big things all at once, even the slightest thought of failure of anything else in my life upsets me and all I want is to have the energy to atleast talk to others again even if I'm sad atleast I wont be pushing away everyone I love.

I feel the same way. i moved 1300 miles away from family and havent spoken to them in years. im currently pregnant with my 4th it was a accident. i was on birth control but it failed. my kids dad has quit his job going on 4 years ago now and refuses to work or pay half of living expences with his savings and its gon on for 4 years i have no one to talk to ..i tried to talk to him but he calls me names and says he just wants to get in his car and go . that he doesnt love me or our kids. i dont know if i want to just cry or beat him to death half the time. i work night s so im alone all night. i have no friends. and i would be great with that IF i had a decent partner. apparently i "broke him" his words. i feel like shit all the time im exausted because of pregnancy and i try to sleep in day but he looses his shit and i have to get up to be with kids all day. i hate what he has become and how it has made me resent him. and i feel terrible for my kids. his depression and outlook on life is shit.he wont do anything as a family he tells me and the kids he hates us. if i kick him out im a pregnant single mom of 3 going on 4 how can i deal! no friends no family :'( im exausted now.. with out him ill have more work and even less sleep...but i know me and kids deserve better :'(

@1983oldsoul I want to beat up your partner too. *hugs* do you think you might feel better getting back in touch with your family?

I know how you feel. I am constantly tired and it is affecting everything in my life. I just don't have the energy to do any of my hobbies or socialize with anyone. I feel like my days are just falling into a routine of doing things i have to and then using every other second to do nothing. I never feel like i got enough sleep at night. Everything is so exhausting.

@Penguin2020

I feel you. Most of the time I do only the bare minimum that's required of me and that's only because I need, deep down, to meet the expectation others have for me. I feel like shit and nothing that once used to be enjoyable is anymore. I used to love watching tv series and talking about the plot, writing my own stories and reading books, going on for walks -- all that's gone and if I do it it's either to escape some part of my reality or because I, myself, expect this of me. And all the time I am just tired of it all. I daydream about a month or half a year of holiday from my own life. Not really a suicide, I don't think it's at that level yet, but half a year to just stop being. That'd be the best Christmas gift for me.

i'm so physically and emotionally exhausted that i couldn't find the energy to go to work and i ended up losing my job last week. i had never allowed my anxiety or depression to take me down to where i would be put in a position to lose my job. i think i've just been swimming against the current so long that i just ran out of fuel.

@justSC

I'm sorry to hear that. I am costantly tired & exhausted. Every day is a struggle. Sometimes I sit at work staring at my monitor trying to figure out how to keep my eyes open.

Hopefully it helps a little bit to know that there are others that can relate (like me). It is very difficult.
