Too Much

I know my main problem is lack of sleep. Literally my whole life I've struggle with setting a regular sleep schedule. I am naturally a night owl but there have only been a couple of brief periods in my life when staying up at night was okay. I have an office job and two kids. I need sleep on a normal, regular schedule.

In the meantime my lack of sleep is exacerbating everything else. I'm fucking OVER being at home all day every day. I have no drive, no focus, no motivation. I'm supposed to be working right now. I'm on the clock. I don't fucking care I want to cry and go to sleep.

Totally understand and relate to this. I am a nightshift paramedic with a 12 year old son who I am homeschooling at the moment. Lack of sleep is horrible to handle. Sorry you are going through this.

Thank you for the empathy! Thank you for the work that you do!! It's not for everyone. I've had many friends in that line of work and I know it can be an utterly exhausting and thankless job.
l tell myself my every single day/night...I will do better, I'll go to bed earlier. Then bam it's way-too-late o'clock again. Ugh.
