We are not the problem, we are just one part of a big problematic society.

The world is very far from being perfect, if you are one of those people who just get an image in your head of a perfect utopia world were things work perfect, also if you escape to this fantasy in your head a lot. Chances are that you might be beaten yourself up until you become more like the person in your fantasy. The problem that many people who beat themselves up is that the think they are the main problem in this, many times we can see this in disfunctional families, they dont understand that the problem is the whole family, everyone has a part in this, everyone has equal responsability. Same as in a society everyone has some really bad thing inside. The problem at hand is that most people don`t see this.

@talktomeok

There's good and bad. Claims such as the one you're making have the effect of having wrong-doers think they're not the problem while they clearly are.
If you think the problem is "a whole and not because of yourself" so hard than it's probably that you're desperate to reject a fault of yours somewhere else.

@justanemptynobody You fail to understand my point here my friend. So first this is to motivate those ones who blame everything on themselves. Its like saying everyone has some part in this. You fail to see the big picture my friend..

@talktomeok

I perfectly understood what you meant to do there. But regardless, since this is a forum, everyone will be able to see your message and there are people who should blame themselves and will find in your message a perfect opportunity to claim that nothing's their fault and that it's the "world's fault" and thus that they cannot do anything.

I see the big picture very well, too. Sure, the world's fucked up. But not everyone has a part in it. Some people do have a large part in it, some others not at all. The former SHOULD blame themselves.

"Everyone is at fault" is the kind of thing people at fault tend to say to reassure themselves you know ?
