What's your favourite song?
Living with depression it so hard and a way some people find a way to cope with this is through the power of music! We all love music. -What song do you listen to which helps you feel better, makes you feel understood, makes you feel your not alone in your fight?
@harrytheunicorn
It changes, but if I were pressed, I'd have to say Everybody Hurts.
I was working at a pretty high-level job in Manhattan when September 11th happened. One day I was in the corner office (with the bar with cut glass crystal and private lavatory with a shower) and the next I was on the floor in front of the TV in the fetal position. I gave up on 'The News' and had on MTV: remember when they had music on?
Everybody Hurts by REM played, and I wept.
@JeffWM
wow
Thank you for sharing that with us. I really like that song by REM
@harrytheunicorn
BTW, it's my understanding that all the royalties for that song are donated to suicide prevention agencies. Whenever Michael Stipe performs it, he almost always says something like, "…this is your song, we'd . be happy to play it for you".

Mostly anything violent like death metal, upsetting like depressive black metal, some classical music, and mainstream music (mostly in 80's-early 00's, ONLY when I'm actually in my rare moments that I'm not feeling like my mind is blank and missing).
