What to do when you are dragging yourself whole day long. ... ?

Lately I have been feeling very lethargic and it has become tough for me to even get out of my house. Doing even the simplest of tasks is taking a lot of mental effort from my side. I just drag myself whole day, from one place to another. I force myself as hard as I can, to go to the gym , go for a walk and all..But after a point in time, I get tired mentally. I told this to my psych. and he told me that there is nothing wrong with my meds and I should "force" myself to do stuff. But I have been forcing myself for way too long now. And still I dont see this getting any easy. So what is it that I should do ?

@Mrcheeku I am sorry you are going through that. As a depression sufferer myself, I know exactly what you mean. Feeling like you can barely move, like you are weighted down with bricks with every step...it is the worst. I think it is amazing that you are able to force yourself to do things to take care of yourself, such as going to the gym. It really shows just how strong you are. In my expereience, this feeling you have can come from not being on the right medication or from misdiagnosis. I do not know your situation entirely so it is hard to say what is the right decision for you to make regarding your mental health. But I think getting a second opinion could be helpful in gaining perspective of what is wrong. I hope it gets better for you. You have a whole community of members and listeners here to support you. There are self help guides and online therapists on 7 cups as well. I i wish you the best. :)
