Why
Thinking about suicide every day, walking across the street without looking, thinking about method. No motivation to pursue things I care about. No point in this
I have had similar thoughts… the important thing is to find a reason to keep fighting.
I feel you
@Blobieflop10 I’m here if you need to talk
I hear you. I have been doing so well, however these thought came strong today. I won’t ever do it, but the thoughts won’t leave me alone.
I can relate to this. You are not alone. In the following sentences I am using the word "you" impersonally. TRIGGER WARNING: Especially when you feel you have tried everything you were taught to do and you have tried to be a kind and compassionate human being, but due to unfair circumstances totally outside of your control, and people in authority who are abusing you and your loved ones, it feels like the best and most logical thing to do would be to give up. For example, police brutality is one scenario that renders one feeling the illusion of powerlessness. Especially when that brutality is of a humiliating sexual nature. Statistics show that police do this and rely on this not being reported as a function of their authority. It is an unjust situation and deeply violative of trust and the law. Yet it exists. However I am trying to work and care for my elderly parents and I paid $150/month to try to talk to a licensed therapist about this. I also tried to better my mental health by exercising despite the harassment I face at the gym now. Although it feels like a massive feat, I have tried.
And I just wanted to say I empathize with the people in this forum who are feeling hopeless and exhausted and like trying is not worth it.
