Why is life often difficult?

I feel like if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

I've never had 100% good health. It is just one thing after another. Cancer, kidney failure, heart problems, bone problems... Is it really living when you are reliant on medications and a new organ to keep you alive? It's not normal.

All relationships are up and down. I feel unhappy a lot of the time, he doesn't seem to consider me much. I do feel alone, especially on my health journey.

My job. Wow... Where do I begin. In July my supervisor left a I was expected to temporarily take control of the department. When it came to the interview stage I failed. Working for someone who got the job I applied for is a very difficult position. The biggest issue? I still do around 70% of the supervisor role but still have to do my own role on top of that. My chest hurts, colleagues are arguing, we're missing deadlines as we're understaffed but despite me flagging this it somehow gets pinned on me and my inability to handle it all.

I'm tired, I feel worthless, I struggle to get up in the mornings, I'm drowning in work, I cry when I get home. Life is just so difficult. I try to be positive but today I just can't see it. I want to change my job and do less hours but it isn't that easy to find something new.

@CaringBrit Thanks for the reaching out.

I do have some very good co-workers. They chat with me when I'm low and can rally around when I need a bit of extra help.

I am quite motivated, resilient and determined. I think it is because I feel I'm already a step behind most normal people with my health problems so I push myself hard and do achieve what I put my mind to.
