last night, my best friend basically friend-dumped me. she said she had some "unwanted realizations" and "needed space". she wants to stop talking for a while. i'm not mad at her-- she has anxiety and has been going through a hard time for a little while now. telling me she needed space was incredibly brave. i just have a lot of questions i can't even ask. now that she's gone, though, i feel really, really alone. school has been stressing me out recently and it feels like everything is going wrong. i'm asleep more hours of the day than i'm awake, and when i am awake, it's hard for me to do things. i lose focus a lot, and i can't seem to make my eyes process what i'm supposed to be reading or doing. i just want to sleep again. it's only been a day, but i miss her already. i just wish i knew what i did.

@AdrianTheAlien

Id say to continue giving them space, possibly a few weeks to a month- they need their own time to work things out. In the meantime, you should find things for yourself.. what makes you happy? What do you enjoy doing? Figure out how you can slowly fill in the void that person once did, even if that means spending time with other friends. You got this.
