If you're willing I'd listen to you talk about it. Sounds similar to something I have, but I could be wrong. Didn't wanna assume, though.
Hope you can feel content once again, either way.

Okay. Would you like to start it off?
I'm okay if you want to vent or go into detail as well.

Oh. I've been there before, too, when I used to have friends.
Do you want to go on?

Oh wow I really relate to that...
Could I ask if this is the first time you've ever experienced this?
Asking because some things in the past could shape these feelings/behaviors.

Life happens, it's reasonable. Especially since you don't have a strong support system, naturally it takes even longer to get things done.
In my experience, I've also had this ongoing problem since way back. Not to assume it's the same, though. Before going in too deep are you fine with this being in forum format or would you prefer pming?

If I might ask- how is he supporting you? I'm just curious what sort of needs you're feeling and how he's fulfilling them. For example is he giving you space? Or just a good listener? Etc.

you might be disassociating. It is a coping mechanism. You're probably depressed and your brain is trying to cope. ...

i felt like that last week when I ran out of my meds. I went to see a psychiatrist and they amended my original diagnosis of major depression to the dual diagnosis of bipolar AND depressed. They said looking from their perspective I was emotionally and energetically all over the place: my highs were sky-high, and my lows were the same as yours. When I felt low I couldnt stop thinking and lashing out. Thankfully the meds have me back on track but I feel flat.
