I have a hard time buying into the idea that there is any hope with My depression by positive thinking.

Don't believe in something you can't, cuz in the end of the day you will feel more uncomfortable. So instead of finishing hope try to find a peace of mind.

And if you wanna have some hope for the future, just think if suppose something good happens later on I wannabe able to live it to the fullest, and that won't happen unless I live today. The possibility of having a positive future is existent only if you work to have a positive present.

It's hard to believe everything will turn out to be the best. So when you can't, just don't think of the future, think of the present and how you can make the best of it. Don't focus on thenegative thoughts, focus of at least small positive thoughts.

If it's still hard, just remember there are people who have worse livves than you do, and that just because you have a better one than them you won't waste a single nbit of it.

Sorry if my tone is a rather bit harsh.

i believe hope can be found up even in the hardest of times. If you don't have light in the dark, then make the light come into existence and spread it. :) 😊hope I helped.

"I have a hard time buying into the idea that there is any hope with My depression by positive thinking."

In my opinion, the term 'positive thinking' can be a bit vague at times. A long time ago, I used to think it meant pretending to be happy by thinking happy thoughts, tricking your brain/subconscience into feeling better. Currently, I think it means to avoid negative thinking, to think about the good more often than the bad, to look past the complexity and see the simplicity, to be mindful or hopeful in being able to find solutions to our problems (however big or small). And In the future, I may think something else.
