Depressed living abroad alone away from my family
I have been suffering from episodes of depression in the last 5 years ,i am living abroad away from ny family, when i came back to visit i found out that my wife was hiding stuff from me (found packs of cigarettes and alcoholic beverage in our bed room(not infidelity), when confronted she explained that some friends came over and left it there, since then it was in our bedroom wardrobe, she is nit a drinker nor a smoker, it was a traumatic experience for me when i found this in my bedroom, i forgave her and believed her, because of my depression these thoughts keep storming back that she hid it from me, and what else could she have hidden, i know it is my depression speaking, how could break this vicious circle.

Hi!
It seems only natural to have trust issues after living apart for so long and when coming back finding some weird things.
Regarding treating your depression, you might consult a psychiatrist, who could assess if you need medication, and eventually prescribe some that is adequate for you.
On the other hand, you might try doing therapy, and appropriate exercises and healing practices.
I wish this is helpful to you as a first answer.
Please don't hesitate to ask for clarification from me and this Community by answering this post with your concerns.
I wish you all the best!
