Don’t tell me I’m not alone.
I’ve never had any friends or personal contacts. I am alone — I’ve never had anyone get to know me one day and then still be there the next day or the next month. If you want me to not feel alone — or anyone else — this site has a chat function. Actually bother to PM and make me (or whoever else) feel listened to. Don’t throw pre-printed greeting cards at people, that makes it worse. Anyway, personal thing... I write fiction, and it’s so stressful to just not have anyone who cares about what I want to write. Like... I’ve tried to share things, but people never really got it. I write fantasy stories without violence, in worlds where war was never invented. That doesn’t mean there’s no conflict, non-violent conflict is stuff conflict (that’s the #1 thing I get accused of). Anyway, yeah... I just want to make friends. I tried to talk to a listener here but they never responded.

I'm gonna make you annoyed by saying this... But you truly are not alone! The reason I say that is because you are validated and we empathize with you. There are tons of people who have felt deep loneliness like you have, and what helps is social support. That's why you and me and others use 7 cups ☺️ I know text on a screen isn't the same as meeting in person, but it's better than nothing. Maybe seeing a professional counselor or social worker can help you grow social support. Remember, people in reality are going to disappoint you in comparison to the people you write about in your fiction; we're all messed up broken sinners... But we are doing the best we can! I know you are, too.
