Hey Everyone,
As someone who does not struggle with loneliness specifically, I am always looking for ways to better understand the sensation and help others. I have felt lonesome while in a relationship that made me unhappy, but have been quite comfortable by myself and even prefer it to company half the time. Therefore, I would like to ask a few questions: Why do you feel lonely? What do you suppose causes this inability to be alone? Have you ever felt lonely even while surrounded by others, or perhaps, the wrong people? How long have you felt this way? What changes have you made to better understand and alleviate your loneliness?

It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll try my best :) It's nice of you to want to help! I don't know why I'm lonely: I have friends, family, and lots of great people supporting me. It's not lonely from the outside, but from within. Kind of like I have so many thoughts that I feel like no one would understand, and I'm drowning in them. I think it started with depression, I had so many feelings and thoughts that I was/still am hiding behind a fake smile all day long 24/7. Now that this has been going on for about a year, I feel like no one knows the real me, the one that I barely know either. The version of myself that I wear all day isn't lonely, but the one on the inside is very very alone. So far, I haven't found a way to feel better, I was hoping 7 cups would help
I feel lonely coz I have no one to share my feelings with. Though I have a good number of friends at college, still there's no one amongst them with whom I'm can share my feelings when I feel low. So I became more active on 7Cups to alleviate my feelings of isolation.
