mom of two (2&4). living in a foreign country with my hubby and kids. My hubby lost his job due to pandemic. im the only one working. my salary can support at least our basic needs. my boss expanded my scope at work as she is assessing if i can get promoted soon. im grateful but it is stressing me. after work, i automatically turned into a mom. my hubby was super supportive, doing the household chores but he has no initiative to plan for our future. im the strong persona in the relationship while he is a good supporter and follower. I feel like I carry the whole world. i am so tired of thinking about everything specially the future of the kids. we do not want to go back to our home country as it is a 3rd world country. we feel that the kids will have a better future somewhere else. i am just really tired of everything.. emotionally, physically. what should i do?

The only thing you can do now is staying strong girl. Already something big is coming your way (job promotion). So maybe focus on that might ease your mind.

Sounds you‘ve been through a very hard time. As an immigrant myself, I can understand how difficult to build up a life in a foreign country. Pandemic brings the world upside-down, I believe you already do your best. Please don't be so hard on yourself. Your hubby is a supportive person, which is great. Try to lean on him a little bit more, and ask for help from him may bring some surprise. Wish you the best.
