In need of cuddles :(

Hi,

I was wondering if it's weird to message someone on a dating site to ask them to come over and just like semi-platonically cuddle? I'm pansexual, so I would be asking other women. Is that not safe or is it weird?

Right now I am talking to some people on there but the convos often don't seem to go anywhere, and I am at a rate of maybe one date every week or two. Those may not go anywhere, or getting to "cuddle" level feels like it would take forever. People ask for casual sex right so why can't I ask for like casual hugs/holding my hand? I feel like it would help my loneliness a lot.
