Invisible and feel like nobody sees me !
I'm really struggling with loneliness and connections with others to make relationships with people not lack of trying I've been doing my best to get myself out there but lately I'm finding myself getting emotionally exhausted along the way its making the loneliness even worse in the process of doing it.
I'ma very loving person who deserves love and connections and relationships. Is there such thing as *Trying to hard* ??
I don't want to feel as if I'm not going to get what I want and need. Should I slow down for awhile and let it come to me for awhile? Just lay low for awhile. ❤❤❤❤❤
@Leanna3333 I see you & understand. I am living in a new location
and don't fit in here at all. However, on the opposite end of the
spectrum... I find myself wishing I was
invisible and that nobody could see me. I have had to become comfortable
with, and enjoy my own company... so I feel like when people look at me
they are thinking things like "there goes that weirdo, loner, recluse
that just moved here last year, lets point at them and whisper!"
I am also going to be honest about a thing that complicates this kind of stuff: Sometimes events in life will cause people to have trust issues. For example, there are people who might feel wary about people who come on too friendly too quickly... especially if they have ever experienced abuse or rejection after being "love-bombed" by someone.
You are not a werido ! I can understand why some people like yourself wanting to be alone after being in a unhealthy relationship(s) just means that you haven't had any as of yet healthy and positive relationships. People can be awful sometimes and that's not nice. That's what wrong with the world they're needs to be more goodness and kindness and love.
Thanks for seeing me! ❤
Much love your way. 💕💕💕
@Leanna3333 Oh, you are so sweet, but I really AM a weirdo! 100%
It's just that before moving here, I had lived in a place where that was accepted ...and even appreciated. I had been very lucky to have an adequate amount of healthy, positive relationships in my (long) life, but sometimes it only takes the one incident/individual to completely change your perspective on things. Like touching fire for the first time...
Hey, just last month i was in the same place u are right now… i didnt want to hangout with my friends, i felt irrelevant everywhere and all the time and i stopped talking to everyone. Needing reassurance is natural when u are putting in effort. Laying low will put u in a deeper hole than u are currently. What will help is evaluating how much u invest in every single relationship of yours and if its truly worth it.
@braveSpruce7383 Yes, absolutely agree with the part about evaluating how much you invest in each relationship. There shouldn't be an actual scorecard kind of thing, but it is usually for the best if the other person is invested in it as much as you are.
Yeah i totally agree with you here. I think that it takes all parties involved in the relationship(s) to put effort into the connection between each other has more balance. Investing is important to do 😉
@Leanna3333 True. The way I see things is that if they are putting in some warmth, then by all means bring the sunshine. If they bring lukewarm, that's okay, they might just be shy and comfortable with equal amount of lukewarm for a while. If they seem to give a chilly vibe, give them room temperature... maybe they just take a little while to warm up to people they don't know.
Sending more strength and peace. You aren't invisible here. Look at how many people are listening.
Depression can be so frustrating because it looks like your trying isn't getting you far. Remind yourself that this isn't your fault. It is brain chemicals that are off.
Who are you able to talk with?@Leanna3333
Awww thank you so much for the thoughtful words. Joining 7 cups has been a great experience for me this community has been such a comfort and connecting with others on here.
I hope that you are finding a spot where you can get some good rest.@Leanna3333

Hi Leanna! I see you and I understand how difficult it might be to feel like people don't. It is so hard to feel invisible, but remember that you deserve the best in life. People DO see you, even if you may not realize. You matter so much! Reach out to me or someone else if you ever need to talk!❤️
