Kinda stuck
So a little backstory I guess, my mom passed away in November and I was her caretaker (she was handicap and had loads of health issues) after that happened my landlord kicked me and my bf out and alot of drama unfolded and I had to rehome most of my kitties. My step/roommate is holding onto the other girls I wanted to keep for a few months. We moved from SC to TX so I'm far from everyone I knew and everything I know. We are living with my boyfriend's parents and his sister till we get on our feet. He has a job, he's working on a better one, and I don't have a job. I'm trying to find a job tho I'm emotionally drained still and still have those days when I want to just curl in a ball and cry. I have no ID, GED, or anything like that cuz I never could before since I have always been stuck at home and I dropped out of school to take care of my mom and the house cuz it was too much for me to handle both. I have really bad social anxiety because of this and I can't find any jobs online that would help bring money in. I draw and am trying to do commissions but I'm not getting any. I feel kind of stuck. Any advice would help, though I'm still limited due to my mental state (I know it's no excuse) but let me know what y'all think. Should I just suck it up and try and work on a GED even though I'm struggling mentally? Or should I just work on myself? I don't know I feel useless right now.
(And if you'd like to commission me please let me know every $ counts)

I'm so sorry to hear about everything that you've been through. It sounds like you've had a lot to deal with in a short amount of time, and it's understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed and emotionally drained.
It's great that your boyfriend has a job and is working on a better one, and it's good that you're looking for a job too. I know it can be tough to find work, especially when you're dealing with mental health issues and social anxiety. It's important to remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and it's okay to take the time you need to work on yourself.
In terms of finding a job, have you tried reaching out to any employment agencies or job training programs in your area? They might be able to offer you some resources or job leads that would be a good fit for you. It's also a good idea to make sure you have all the necessary documentation, like your ID and GED, so that you're ready to apply for jobs when they become available.
It's great that you have a talent for drawing and are trying to do commissions. If you haven't already, you might want to consider setting up an online portfolio or reaching out to other artists for advice on how to market your work. It can take time to build a client base, but don't give up! Every commission you get is a step in the right direction.
As for working on your GED, it's definitely something to consider, but only if you feel like you're ready for it. It's okay to take your time and focus on your mental health first. If you do decide to work on your GED, there are resources out there that can help, like online classes or study groups.
Remember, you're not useless! You've been through a lot, and you're doing the best you can. Keep reaching out for help and support when you need it, and take things one day at a time 😊
