Lonelier than ever
I have always been a lonely person. After a while you get resigned about not having friends. Well, some months ago (almost a year) I made some friends on Twitter. We would play online games, watch things together, talk about everyday stuff. But rn I am in a very dark place and I decided to leave the group (discord server) because when I'm in an bad depressive episode I tend to be snappy and rude. I told them that. I told them that I was in a very dark place. And they just...didn't care. I mean, yes at the moment they sent a message, but it have been days and no one has checked on me. It's dumb, I know. But when they were on a bad place, I would check on them everyday. And now that is my turn...I don't even know how to feel.
I feel super lonely too. Ex fiancé dumped me last year out of nowhere and I begged back and he just threw me out. 26 and miserable and hate my life
You're not alone here. I feel exactly the same. I have friends who only want me when they need me, but when it's my turn, no one cares to check. I'm constantly struggling and wondering about my self worth. I hope you feel better and not let those people bring you down.
I know exactly how you feel @RS1984. I had to cut out my best friend from my life because he gaslight me when I felt uncomfortable with things between us. Now I have no one around but strangers who only care about how I help them, not truly about me. If any of you find a trick to help not feel this way, let me know cause I've run out of ideas. Hopefully we'll all stop feeling like this one day. 💚
I wish we could all stop feeling this way. All I ask is one friend who understands me fully. It's not that much to ask for, right? I'm sorry about your ex-best friend gaslighting you. But hopefully you'll find a good one someday.
