Lonely In the Middle

Hi. I'm 36 year old black women. I've never married and I don't have any kids.

I feel my loneliness is brought on by the fact that I grew up in a predominantly white community. I am not well versed in hip hop but I love it and I'm learning. I love country and alternative just as much. This and the fact that I have a bachelors degree seems to separate me from the black community. More so, I fell especially disconnected from my family. I'm either nit black enough or I'm too black.

I can understand how you're feeling and can relate, in some way. You have shared some of your interests there and I;m wondering if you can use that to help you meet new people who perhaps share those interests too?
