My loneliness caused by: trauma or personality?
Ok healing means understanding the root cause and taking steps to repair from the inside out. Heres some of my story. If you have any insights, share bcos im super interested. Is my constant loneliness and inability to connect rooted in trauma (flexible) or personality (fixed)?
The trauma; My mum, gone. Dad, kicked me out at 14. Brothers, backed him up. Childhood home of abuse and neglect. Travelled with a carnival till 17. All criminals and drug addicts. Carnival meant moving around a lot, what few highschool friends I had forgot me. Never in one place long enough to make new friends. Never learnt how. Carnival also meant scamming, betrayal, tricks and deception, violence, abuse and exclusion. All this past = complex ptsd, anxiety, depression. Ptsd percieves everyone as a threat and has lots of trust issues. Anxiety, obvious contributer to continued loneliness as with depression.
Now the personality; im an INTJ myer briggs type. The rarest type for a female. 1 in 500 average. Emphasising the introvert. As well as being rare, this type is also very secretive and untrusting, very independent etc. So is virgo, very guarded with perfonal details and selective with connecting.
I dont believe personality or starsigns are totally ligit but the info about me gives pretty accurate insight.
@JShado
I would say both are contributing factors.
No problem! :)
