Need some advice
I just got back from college and barely had friends I hung out with down there. Most of the time I spent by myself because a lot of the people were fake. I really looked forward to coming back home only to see my best friend who I haven't seen in like 5 months. However, my parents only let me see her like twice a week. The rest of the days I spent working and I was really looking forward to finding true happiness and to just be happy this year. However, my parents are preventing me from doing that and they keep me on a tight leash to where I have a tracker on my car and phone and can't go many places. Even though I just turned 19, they still treat me like a child and I've been dealing with depression and all of the stress they bring on me since I was around 13 or 14. It's gotten to the point where I'm out of options and I just feel like giving up. In life I can only find short term happiness and the good things always outweigh the bad things. I know this may seem small compared to the things others go through, but it’s something that really weighs down my mental.

I understand that you wanted to see your best friends because you barely made any friends where you went to college at. I'm sorry that your parents only let you see the person twice a week. She is the person that makes you happy and want to be around wtih. I understand where you are coming from with the parents and they track yoou wherever you go. They should have more trust in you then that. I understand how this is weighing down on you and your mental health. Any persons problems are valid and just because there are worse things people go through doesn't mean that your problems aren't valuable. I understand you want to give up but it's not the way, I understand it is hard to believe that but it's true. I hope you feel better about yourself. :)
