Why is it so hard to make friends
I moved to a new place few months back. I'm struggling to find people who I can call a true friend. All the people around me are self centered and they don't give a damn about how I feel. They say pretty harsh stuff to me , don't respect my boundaries and be good to me only when it is convenient to them. They leave me out of common activities and make me feel like a stranger even after 8 months. I have no sense of belonging in this place and I just want to return to my old surroundings. The only thing keeping me here is is remembering that I have a goal to achieve.
@gentleKitten4331 I'm sorry you're going through that and wish I had an answer for you. I don't quite have the same experiences you did but can really relate to what you said. It's really tough making friends and sometimes it ranges from just not clicking with people (which has been more of my experiences) to downright awful ones like yours.
