Depression
Is it normal to experience a identity loss because of depression or a loss of communication skills ?
Depression and the feeling of losing identity and communication are not that uncommon, and are definantly some of the symptoms that go with depression. Depersonalization can also go hand in hand with depression I think
@thearriorflight--just wanted to let you know I moved your thread to the depression Q & A section. Take care!
We have live in the vacuum space for a while, isolating from the people, and depression as well as disability to communicate with others intensify the symptoms.well,we almost get into a vicious circle.we lost our real self and see it vague and unclear.also we restract our feelings and keep irresistent to real wishes.that totally ruins us if we don't get out of this weird circle
I certainly feel an identity loss when I'm depressed... I don't want to continue to be the person that feels the way i do so for me this involves at least trying to change who i am and give myself the ability to change... I don't always succede in these attempts. But the communication loss is very hard.... It's like i have a mental fog that blocks my ability o communicate with the outside world.... i know that my conversations aren't teh same when i'm depressed as when i'm not... i lose a bit of my personality and when it's really bad my sense of humor is pretty much not there
