Does depression make you physically cold?

I tried to look it up, but I'm not sure. I have depression. I have always been cold and my hands have always been cold, but lately I feel freezing and the weather is getting warmer.I make sure I'm wearing long sleeves, etc.I'm feeling colder and colder, not like before. Is it connected to depression? Is it linked with the sleep issues from depression? Anyone else have this problem?

I have low blood pressure so body warmth is always a problem for me, but I have noticed that it worsens when I'm depressed--it especially drops if I cry. My best guess of why it happens is that the body is experiencing stress, so it directs all its blood to the body parts it thinks it needs to survive. My arms sometimes get tingly and cold from lack of blood. Theheat/blood seems to go to the head(for crying) and the internal organs (for not dying, I guess).

It takes a while for my body to warm up from stress. Bundling up, doing something comforting, and breathing exercises seem to help.

I can't really remember if I have had it directly related to my depression. But I do remember that my body temperature goes down a lot when I eat less and I feel very cold. And sometimes I eat less because I am depressed.
