Family stress is eating me up and I don't know how to get out of this dip

I have been feeling depressed for 2 months or so, I know this does not seem to be a long time compared to a lot others, and given that I used to be a lively and happy person, this is the most crippling and debilitating time of my life. I have reached to a point where I feel like I would never get better. I have yet to be properly diagnosed but It has been taken me a long time to see a dr who can refer me to someone for therapy (just the nature of the health care system I guess).

Brother:-

Anyway, the trigger of this started around 2-3 months ago when I found out my younger brother (6 years younger) who was in first year of university stopped attending classes due to a bad breakup and as a result he was demotivated to go back or to finish his exams. He had totally given up on his studies (he had done fairly well in school up until then) and has since said a few times he could not see himself going back. Given that I am fairly well educated myself and have landed on a well-played job in a consultancy firm, as well as family expectations that we all at least finish university, and being the only family member who had first hand contact with him at the time (my parents live in another country in Asia) to see how bad he was, the prospect of his future and his lack of concerns about it shocked and worried me to the core.

I had hoped that that would just be a phase but it
