Okay so I know this might be weird. I have chronic depression and in a way, I almost like my depression. Even though it makes me, well, depressed, it feels like home. I have always been depressed so it's a known, predictable, normal feeling for me. So whenever I feel happy or something, I always wait for thesad come again. Being happy is a strange feeling for me. It's unknown and I never know what to do. But when I'm sad, I just get it. I know the feeling and I can predict how things are. Anyway, I know I need to get out of this depression. Getting therapy or medication isn't an option for me right now, and I need something to make me happy. I have been through 5 therapists and multiple pills have been shoved down my throat. Please, I'm just too young to be feeling like this. Help.

Hey there, I'm so sorry to hear that you are constantly dealing with depression. I want to point out the fact of how self aware you are, which is great! I'm relieved that you are able to have your moments of happiness, no matter how short lived or fleeting they may be. The fact that you have the courage to seek help is beautiful, and it shows that you are confident enough to believe you can actually beat this thing. Depression is unfortunately a constant battle, but keep your chin up sweetheart and keep fighting for those happy moments!
