Motivation during weekend gaps

This question isnt necessarily geared to a M-F workweek crowd, but to whatever your workday breaks are. How do you motivate yourself to do things, and I mean both little and big things, when you dont have a schedule? For me, weekends are difficult.

Motivation isn't about willpower. It is about making decisions as easy as possible, or should I say make it harder to not commit than to commit. An example would be signin up for activities where it would look bad to cancel at the last minute or sign up for meetup groups etc.

Have things already booked in so you are not forcing yourself last minute to do stuff..

If you wait for the motivation to hit, you will find excuses not to. Human beings are hard wired to be lazy. If you are depressed the motivation to do anything is even less.

Good luck!

The way I keep my motivation is keeping myself busy, sometimes I have to make some sort of schedule to keep myself up and productive over the weekend. If I don't stay productive I become extremely unmotivated.
