Partner Problems

I have lived with my boyfriend for 7 years. He is kind, and giving and gentle but he has this awful problem when it comes to money and expects me to bail him out all the time. I have been out of work for 2 years and my mom recently died. I have had to go on the CalFresh system to feed us both because he doesn't make much besides his SS. My brother is the oldest and he took most of moms jewelry and household stuff, even though my dad is still alive. He could have left him something but he didn't. He doesnt need any of it as he and his wife are well off. He then took all the money out of mom's Trust and left myself and dad with nothing. I can't even describe how much I hate my brother right now. If I had a ton of money I would put out a hit on my brother and his wife. They deserve zero-I am hoping karma will kick them in the pants soon. I couldn't leave dad behind so I brought him to live with us. It's another mouth to feed but I can do with less. We do not live in a good area -there is a lot of crime here so I don't walk the hood. However that being said, my boyfriend has champagne tastes on beer money - recently I earned $500 babysitting neighbor kids and he said he was broke and needed money to pay rent etc. So I gave him the money thinking he would pay the bills. He didn't, he spent it all on his grandkids and fancy food yesterday and then today came and asked me for money for bills. When I asked him what he did with the $500 I just gave him - he told me and I am beyond upset about it. I don't know what to do. I can't give him anymore money-I don't have it. :( I am just so depressed about our situation. I love him dearly but his spending money we do not have on things we cannot afford is going to break me. I don't know what to do. He can't pay the rent now, or PG&E or car payment or anything else because he did not bother to think about where the next penny was going to come from. I am wondering why life is so hard and if its even worth going on. :(

Maybe someone can come up with a quick solution here.

@GenieD

Maybe couples counselling can address his money problem? He's putting a lot of pressure on you and it's not fair! I hope things are better now!
