I feel more suffocated and lonely than ever and i don't know what to do. When i went to school my anxiety was worse, but being at home all day makes my depression worse. I feel so alone. I have friends, but i'm not that close to them so i honestly don't enjoy talking to them much. I really just don't feel like doing this all.

I am dealing with finding out the love of my life cheated on me. Still being in love with him I battle if I wanna be with him or not. I battle with if I can ever trust him again. I battle with if someone will ever love me as completely before I found out he cheated. I don't have many friends to talk because the ones I do talk forget to reply back for days or even weeks. So I sit home alone wishing I could talk to friends and wishing I could have my best friend/love of my life back and all I feel like is a burden to my friends and a stupid girl. I wanna fade away. I'm overwhelmed and broken.

@Mmclaughlin2366 I completely understand what you feel. My boyfriend and I broke up a few days ago. He hated talking to me in the last few months, and spoke to other girls the way he used to talk to me. He mightve already hooked up with another girl when we had been talking, I don't know who to trust. He's already talking to other girls, flirting with them. He lied to me, hid those things. And I fear I domt know what I want, or how I feel. He's being indifferent to all my feelings. And he doesn't care about me at all. Three years for nothing.

@Mmclaughlin2366 my two friends get annoyed by me when I talk about him, and get mad at me for having feelings for him. I can't talk to them about how I feel. I feel very lonely too. My depression is becoming worse and all I can do is cry secretly and come out like nothing happened.

all I do is cry too. I can o my imagine how you feel. I have had time to heal a little bit and learn myself worth. I am learning what I deserve and what I don't deserve but that pain is still fresh. I am just letting the pain come when it comes and leave when it leaves. I am trying not to hold onto anything but just go with each day. I am so sorry you are in so much pain and I understand the feeling of betrayal and even feeling not good enough.

I think unfortunately many people are finding that their depression is worsening during these times. What I have found helps a lot is having a routine... get out of bed at the same time, make your bed, get dressed, wash up. Do all of these things even if you're not leaving the house. It makes your day feel more purposeful.

I have also implemented things into my day that I didn't do before... an at-home workout, yoga (I watch a beginners' youtube video and follow along), light reading. If you have a lot of extra time, try finding an interesting new hobby. I'm thinking of learning American Sign Language online, for example. Hope this helps!

Sometimes I feel like the lockdown is ok. That's because I was living in semi isolation anyway so the impact on my life has been minimal. To be honest, I'm quite enjoying the peace and quiet. I can empathize with those whose relatively stable everyday lives have been thrown into turmoil. Then I see the death toll and I feel guilty. It's complicated.

@agreeableSail1544 I'm enjoying the peace and quiet as well. It feels like the world has slowed down to the pace I've always thought it should be. It's weird because for awhile now, I've felt fine mentally. Not many negative thoughts or overwhelming feelings of sorrow. But I'm finding myself back in these depressive patterns. Terrible sleep schedule, terrible diet, bad hygiene, lack of motivation to do work. I don't know what to do. I guess I can just focus on small goals.

When I'm at school my social anxiety isn't great and I get overwhelmed when I see certain people. Being at home helps with that aspect but now that I can't go out I feel so alone and lost. I feel like if I didn't reach out first to people then no one would talk to me, I feel like I'm always the second or third option. I'm also barley sleeping which causes me to over think and feel even more alone becayse everyone else is asleep... it's been rough to say the least
