Separation anxiety
I have been struggling with depression for a few months now (before Covid19). My boyfriend and I have been quarantined together but now we have some freedom we are living separately again and I am really struggling with it. I feel like I'm having major separation anxiety and I'm just waiting around till I see him again in a few days. Is this normal and it just means I want us to live together? How can I deal with it?

Hey Lb, I'm sorry to hear youre not having an easy go at the moment. I can completely understand why you're missing him. I don't know how long you were quarantined together, but I imagine ti was long enough for you to get used to having him around. I'm sure you sorta fell into a sort of routine that was kinda nice. I'm sure they're may have also been sometimes where you may have had a difference of opinion, but being together, you eventually worked it out. Plus, the added benefit of having him to snuggle up to at night. it's nice. . . .its familiar. but with the freedom of reopening the country he's back home and thats new to you. Of course youre going to want him back right away. As humans we resist change, we like stability, and right now things may feel a little weird with out him there. it's nothing to feel conflicted about. You feel what you feel. Our feelings don't ever lie to us. if you miss him, you miss him. Before quarantine you two lived seperately though, and you seemed to manage living apart back then. I believe you'll be able to manage not living together at some point again. This is just a period of adjustment, things will balance out. Hope that helped.
