Vivid memories associated with music
Does anyone else have super vivid memories and emotions associated with music that you listened to in a tough period? Like to the point where you can go back in your mind and almost feel and touch the memory and feel the emotion?
@sunnyOrange2414 I absolutely can relate to this. It was not really a tough period, more of a bittersweet period. Take a listen if you have time: Breakbot - Still Waters (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i55DR4C42ZM).
What song did you listen to during that period in your life?

I've actually got a heap of them, many of them very bittersweet. Early this year was both an absolutely fantastic and terrible place both at once. Don't listen to them much either so they don't lose their potency but here's a few of them: Oceans - The Wombats, Southern Sun & Harlequin Dream by Boy & Bear, Rocket Girl - Betty Who, plus loads more.
@sunnyOrange2414 Those are all great songs. I especially like The Wombats - Oceans. The intro reminds me a bit of Bright Light Social Hour - Infinite Cities (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q14dQUi8Uw). Man, you've got great taste in music.

It always takes me back to a moment several years ago when I was sitting in a T-Mobile store trying to help my friend buy a new phone to replace the one that had gotten lost in an Uber driver's car and was never returned. I'd been hit with a wave of fatigue and had asked to sit down for a moment while we were being ignored by the people working the front desk.
Then that song started to play over the store's sound system and I felt this sense of futility mixed with exhaustion. I mean, I still love that song but it always makes me think of that moment. The fact that my friend passed away less than a year after getting the replacement phone usually comes to mind as well.
