Once that darkness of several years lift, how is it supposed to feel like?

@MyraElysium

Hi. I'm glad you could post here today. Sounds like you might have been in the dark for a while.

The only answer i can give you is to ask if you have ever watched a sunrise?

No matter how long the night and darkness have been around , or how used we have become to the night, there is a time when the dawn comes and that sun will rise again. And at the start it seems to happen so slowly, almost imperceptibly, but there is just a little lessening of the darkness. And as we continue to watch, we can see definite changes, not in all the sky but just the bit near the horizon, and we have a sense that a change is taking place right before our eyes. There is no way we can predict how this is going to look, the patterns in the sky, or the exact colours, or the amount of time that this is going to take, but as we continue to watch and we see the light growing from where it started we know another new day is dawning.

I hope that helps, even in a small way.

Take care
paul

@MyraElysium,

it depends..were you looking for go out of there? if you did it, so you will have a different point of view about everything.. you wont to feel down never again... sometimes you may feel down but you will know yourself and you will find the way to lift yourself up ... you will have a fight in your mind but the healthy side will want to win and it will seek the way to get it and you will noticed about it and you will feel proud of yourself because every fight you win you are closer to win the battle and finally you will go on with your life as nothing wouldn't had happen, and your nice feelings and emotions will get back into you.

I was diagnosticated with severe depression 12 years ago, it took me to leave of this almost 5 years, it was not easy but I swear I really try again and again every day... I took it like a mental exercise, I think to do physics exercises help me a lot too...

nowadays I am going through for a very hard situation and I was afraid to fall into this again but every day I look for one way to distract my mind and till now I have permitted myself to cry just one day for every thing that is not working in my life but when I feel too bad I prefer sleep thinking in I to do something to when I wake up to help my mind to be distracted. at least that is working for me.

I dont know you but I love you... i dont know if you got out of there but I swear that it will be worth it
