i find it really hard to do my job while struggling with depression. i have to work from 9am-2pm from home and i usually end up getting distracted by other things because i don't have the motivation to do what i'm supposed to. do any of you experience this and how do you deal with it?

@toindeedbeag0d , working from from home is challenging as the atmosphere is different from an office or other workplaces. It may be convinient and economical but it could also become dreary .

You could try these :

1. add some fresh flowers to your work table . A pop of colour and fragrance helps to lift the mood.

2. Rearrange your work table to face a different direction and make sure you get ample sunshine or lighting.

3. Add some comfortable cushions for your chair .

4. Make an effort to dress up a little during your work hours.

5. I have seen some people shifting their workplace , once a week , to their favourite coffee shop. They feel it gives them a short break as they enjoy the ambience.

Hope these ideas are helpful.
