Alone and desperately needing coping methods
I have a history of depression but it's been 10 years since my first and last spout, and this time around I feel so much more lost.
I experienced a trauma at my dream job, which I had tied a lot of my identity to, and am still accepting is not my future. I lost my support system earlier this week when I ended a relationship with someone I thought I saw a future with.
It feels like my life is falling apart. I can't afford counseling, my family is very broken and do not live near me, and I've never really had a "best friend" or anyone more than an acquaintance to turn to. I feel so alone. How can I cope and push through?
@Nerdlop
I can understand what you're going through. Even though I have people around me, no one I can really feel comfortable talking to. They often misunderstand or not understand my pain from my experiences and it hurts a lot.

I feel that deeply. I barely bring up how I feel or my mental state to people close to me nowadays because on the few times I did in the past, my feelings were brushed off because it didn't align with what they wanted from me. Even constantly surrounded by people I can't help but feel alone and isolated all the time.
Sometimes you do feel lonely but trust me there are some people in your life that love you. You may disagree now and I did too when I was younger but remember everything happens for a reason and you were born because you can make it!! Everyone is a perfect imperfection. Just let life pass by you.
(Ugh, this sounds a bit too positive, don't u think..but it's true for me anyway)
