Supporting my partner through his depression

I met my partner shortly after his ex girlfriend took her own life. We live quite far from each other and met through friends we have in common. We somehow clicked immediately and are together since then, almost a year now. The terrible loss he suffered has left him with PTSD and depression. I have been supporting him through every step, trying to be supportive, a good listener and covering with as much love as I can give. He‘ someone very loving and affectionate, even in his worst days. We have a very strong bond and have been able to talk about pretty much everything without fear of judgment. I am amazed at how our relationship grew despite what he is going through. I am very lucky to have him and am grateful that somehow our path crossed. However, his depression took a new turn for the worse about two weeks ago, despite medication since May last year and therapy. He was about to take his own life two weeks ago and we had to get him admitted to inpatient care to keep save his life. He’s now been home for about a week and I am only now starting to realize fully the gravity of the situation. I am scared, lost, worried and oh so tired. I am looking for people who are going or have gone through the same as me or my partner and are willing to share their story with me, story of hope and support. People to tell me how they took care of themselves while supporting a partner through depression. Or someone walking in my partner shoes to tell me what they appreciated from them partner, what helped them, what made them feel a tiny bit better. I hope I will find someone like this here. I’ve been looking for a long time.

1st is an unconventional one but try asking God for help and no dont pray to any 1 particular being just say "oh lord if ure there and if u hear my prayer pls guide us to the truth and pls ease our situation." 2nd look for proper professional help from a therapist 3rd get the whole family involved and arrange parties or family dinners to help him recover 4th start travelling and explore new places. 5th cuddle like there's no tomorrow
