WHEN OUR MONSTERS BECOME GREATER.

We must always be attentive to our thoughts, which has changed in our routine, especially when it involves the unusual displeasure of things that were once pleasurable.
Depression is full of dysfunctional thoughts, which involve low self-esteem, distorted view of oneself, excessive self-recovery, feelings of worthlessness, failure, excessive guilt. Now imagine it all inside someone.
It is important to note that internally (at the level of cognition) there are countless things happening that we do not control, that is, who suffers from this disorder does not control every thought, every action, as this often occurs automatically. We have a standard response to events that cause us suffering, it is a defense that we acquire over time generally in our childhood, and sometimes that response worked well at the time, but not today, so we must seek help, we do not need to face the world alone , we are collective, sociable beings.
The condition of depression should always be taken seriously, as it can cause severe damage in all contexts of life.
I know that it is difficult not to let the internal monster consume us, even more feeling so weak, afraid to get out of bed, or even to risk new things, it is the fear of constant failure that does not allow us to breathe calmly, good is never enough. But it is important to say that depression is not something that happens to the weak, always remember that waking up every day is a victory, that every pulse is a won battle, and that if you made it this far, it is because in fact faced it and no matter how you got it, remember that you were strong enough to get here, give yourself the credit to congratulate yourself, because now you no longer need to walk alone (o), there are other functional ways to bring the old pleasure back to life.
You can smile again.

Seek help whenever you feel that the pain is greater than your chest can carry, no one needs to suffer alone, even if they feel that way in their days, remember: we can always do things to improve, we are not alone in this world!
