Kinda feel empty inside.

Maybe it's the weather, but this last month or so has been very hard on me emotionally. I struggle daily with my anxiety, but I had almost entirely left my depression in like 2010 until recently. But it's back with a vengeance. I feel like a lot of it has to do with the fact that I've started questioning my sexuality again. But regardless, that combined with overworking, not sleeping well, and barely eating, I'm having a hell of a time being a normal person.

@chasingthelight

Thank you for sharing this with us.

Lack of sleep and self care (the things we do to feel positive) are triggers for depression to reoccur and I am sorry this seems to be the case for you, it can become a vicious cycle - depression deminishes our motivation to take care of our selves and causes sleep difficulty too. You have beat this before and I have every faith in you that you can again.

Do you think talking over your issues, the reason you question your sexuality would be beneficial - if so please reach out. You are far from alone in how you feel and although we can feel abnormal it is normal - it is okay to have doubts and set backs, I really hope you find some support to feel better again.

@ that's an interesting way to put it. Lack of self care as being a ''trigger" for depression

@ChangeS

letting go is a big step. Putting away reminders of her. Unfollowing her on social media. Cutting off contact. Its hard at first but someday soon you will heal past it.

@riprenders

Pro tip, check the dates of posts. 7 cups was showing 3 year old posts for some reason.

@ChangeS I am also in the same boat. I think I may have literally begging to get back together. I just want my dignity back and I am trying to take one day at a time giving him space that he probably wants and needs. Yes it totally sucks. What helps though I find is company of friends and focus on lots of things that you find enjoyment in.
