(Big Trigger Warning) I'm a suicide survivor

I'm a suicide survivor. I've also hurt myself in the past by cutting myself. Today, my left arm and shoulder are covered with scars. It was November 2017, I was 13 years old. I had just gotten out of the hospital due to my medical conditions. Judging by my state of mind back then, I should have been admitted to a psychiatric hospital but I wasn't for some reason.
I tried to take my own life by overdosing on my medication, and before I knew it, my world went dark. I passed out on my bed, and the next thing I knew, it was 7 in the morning. Time for me to go to school. There was a weight on my chest that day, over what I just did. Till this day, I find it very hard to open up, but once I opened up about my suicidal thoughts to my therapist (do not worry, I am no longer in danger) it got easier. The moral? Don't give up. Suicide isn't worth it. You are wonderful and if you are gone, people will miss you. There will be this void that you left that no one, and I repeat no one will be able to fill.
