Guess who can't sleep OR get a job
So these past few weeks I have literally been going to sleep around 4 or 5am. I had an interview at a fast food restaurant a few days ago and they reached back to me yesterday saying that I wasn't what they were looking for. It made me mad because I have an older sister who is always pressuring me to get a job and comparing me to my younger siblings saying that if they can do certain things, I can get a job. My mom and I have a very strained relationship so we don't talk about our feelings very much to each other, so my older sister is kind of like a mother figure in that sense. I know my mom isn't doing very well with money right now so I really DO want to get a job to try and help her out. Now about the sleeping. It is currently 6:31 and I have been feeling pretty bad about the job I didn't get. I haven't really been talking to the people I normally talk to. So I decided that this might be the best thing to do right now because o don't feel like telling my sister anything because she will pressure me into applying for another job that I know I won't get due to my anxiety, and I honestly don't even really know why I'm posting this or if it even makes sense but I feels good to finally get that out

Hi there Nols28
This is a very difficult moment for you. It's heavy to deal with the pressure of getting a job because of money issues and to be scolded if you don't get one .
With interviews you are doing your best, maybe you can explain to your family members that anxiety doesn't help it when you feel pressured?
I would hope that soon you can find a job but also that you and your family could see the effort you are putting into this challenging your own anxiety issue.
If sharing how you feel helps a little, please come back posting in the Forum.
Sending you good vibes 💙
